Doug Hemingway
Owner/FSR Holder
Doug is the owner and founder of Hemingway Electrical Contracting. With 20 years of experience in the industry his knowledge and skills are unparalleled. He is well respected in both the electrical and construction industry as well as the community. He is willing to take on any challenge, is an excellent problem solver and always puts customer satisfaction first. Doug’s attention to detail especially in high end custom homes, sets him apart from the rest. A commited family man, Doug lives in Davis Bay with his fiancee and daughter and dog Max, who is often seen making friends on job sites. In his free time Doug enjoys boating, mountain biking and spending time with his family.
Matt Packard
Journeyman-lead Foreman
Matt is a highly qualified Red Seal electrician. He has a wide variety of experience in residential, commercial and industrial work and his leadership skills are a great asset on our team. He lives in Gibsons with his wife and two daughters. In his free time he enjoys ripping it up at the skate park with his kids!
Dan Barass
Journeyman
With extensive expirience in commercial and industrial electrical installation Dan brings valuable knowledge and excellent work ethic to our team. Originally from Australia, Dan now is proud call the Sunshine Coast home.
Breton Fraser
Journeyman
The newest member of our team! Breton brings extensive managment and onsite expirience. He recently moved to Gibsons with his girlfriend and we are excited to have him as part of our crew!
Luke Scott
Apprentice
Luke is the longest standing employee! Luke has been working with Hemingway Electrical Contracting since the beginning. He is always eager to learn new skills and won’t stop until the job is complete. His attention to detail is one of his strongest assets and his wiring is immaculate.
Jenna Horth
Apprentice
Jenna is an integral part of our team. Her ability to organize and multitask is a huge asset on the job. She is quick to react and a dedicated and motivated individual. She lives with her partner on their beautiful farm in Roberts Creek. In her free time she enjoys working on her farm and spending time with her horses and dogs.
Cam Biddulph
Apprentice
Cam is known for his enthusiasm and quick thinking! He is always asking important questions to improve his knowledge and skillset.
Ethan geue
Apprentice
Ethan is new to our team and brings fresh energy. He is always willing to learn and is always improving his skillset. With a family background in construction Ethan is at home on a job site and in work boots!
Sarah Ellison
Office Manager
Sarah is behind the scenes making sure that billing, admin and schedules are up to date as well as managing social media. She wears many hats and her attention to detail and exceptional customer service skills are a great asset.
